Because we believe that patients’ busy schedules find them needing and wanting dental care that fits their lifestyles, we have invested in this amazing technology.  The E4D Dentist System makes it possible for everyday people, just like you, to have needed dental treatment of porcelain crowns in just one dental visit in most cases.

This clinically proven technology uses computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to custom create porcelain crowns, inlays, and onlays right in our office.  We obtain “digital” impressions using a laser scanner in the mouth.  Then while the patient watches, we custom design a restoration that fits his or her unique smile while using the E4D design center.  After the design process is complete, the information is transferred to our in-office milling center by wireless communication.  The restoration is milled from a solid block of porcelain and then placed in our porcelain oven for the glazing process, adding even more strength and beauty.  Shortly thereafter, the patient’s final restoration is bonded into the mouth, thus eliminating in most cases the need for a temporary crown and another appointment several weeks later to place the final restoration.

The E4D restorations are metal free, durable, and gentle to the opposing natural teeth.  What’s more, they allow us to conserve as much natural tooth structure as possible in order to achieve the patient’s needed and desired results.  It’s truly modern dentistry that fits today’s patient’s lifestyles!
